This photo was taken about 1898 and the baby is Francesco Mazza, his first-born son, born in 1897. He left Sersale in 1892. Raffaele was murdered in 1923, leaving behind 9 children. The second oldest, Gilbert changed his name to Maze soon after the incident. |
